He can eat plain cooking chocolate but if he eats a candy bar or fudge or something like that then he is eating candy. He is trying to cheat. :-)

Chocolate made with chili peppers instead of sugar would be okay in my book. That was the favorite drink of Montezuma.

TOTAL B/S. Chocolate is Candy. Candy really comes under the definition of any sweetened product synthetically made. Unless he eats straight from the Cocoa, or to be correct Cacao pod, He's having Candy when he has Chocolate.
