can i wear this for my entry level factory interview tomorrow

  • i have an interview for an entry level job at a factory tomorrow at 10 am well i found out about the interview two days ago and i only own jeans i have a brand new pair dark washed and a dark purple polo type top no stripes i am so nervous and i want the job really bad but right now im broke i have 2 kids so therefore there isnt much time or much money to spend on myself please answer

  • Answer:

I think a clean, neat pair of jeans and a polo shirt is acceptable for an interview at this level. A general rule is to dress one level above what you will wear in the position. For example, if someone in the position you are seeking generally dresses business casual (slacks and a button shirt, but no tie), you wear a tie. If they wear a tie, you add a jacket, and so forth. I would imagine an entry level factory worker would wear some sort of utilitarian uniform; a polo shirt would be acceptable.

What factories are hiring?!?!? Do you live in China or something?

Your profile says absolutely nothing about you-don't you think that makes it kind of hard to answer? What are you going to be doing in the factory and in what part of the country do you live? What sex are you and what's your body type?

Possum

Wear what you might on the job, so long as it is clean and neat. If you have work boots, wear them, just sure they are clean.
