When the jury pool is being 'filtered' for the justice system, they determine conflict of interest with the offendant. What about the Prosecutor?

Does Conflict of interest include them as well? ~Mr. Wolf
-
Answer:
The prosecutor, as an officer of the court, is expected like all such officers to reveal any conflict of interest of their own volition, and to recuse themselves if appropriate. Since the prosecutor is legally qualified, they are expected to know this without being asked. It would be a gross abuse of legal duty to continue in a case in which they had an interest.

before a jury is selected, both the defense team and prosecutors question the prospective jurors ... those with an obvious conflict of interests are automatically excused, but they are also allowed to excuse a certain number without having to give a reason, other than they simply don't like them ... it's called
