How To Contact YouTube?

If I want to enter my youtube account, I am forced to take a google account. How can I contact youtube about it, to protest and complain?

  • I do not want to be forced into taking a google account. I do not want all my things to be linked online. I do find it a big violation of my privacy. Also I can't even acces my own account because of this. WTF? Is that even legal? It feels the same as if I was renting a house, and then suddenly the locks get changed so I can not enter, unless I give them permission to look up everything I read in a library. And if I don't want to, bad luck, as my stuff is still inside the house but I can never reach it anymore. An other thing, if you don't want to use google anyway, but rather use an other search engine, but do want to post on youtube, you múst subscribe to google. What kind of monopoly is that? :-S So I searched on the youtube site for a contact link. I can not find any, except for a non-digital adress in the US. Somehow that gives me the idea that my complaint will not be heard. Do they have email contact options that I can use? Sorry for the rant btw. ;-)

    What Anonymous said. Google bought youtube, and now a crapload of sites are cross-linked like that. Very irritating. One-stop sign-in could be a good thing - if you could trust it.

google owns youtube you nub. just host your videos from your own server from now on, if it's such a worry.

I hope you find an answer! Sounds terribly invasive to me, too. I am of no help for your specific question, though. ~ ~ ~ [ On a much smaller scale, a certain current USA presidential candidate has an official website. The only way one can email this candidate with a question is by either signing up officially to the website or by using the email address which is specifically set up to donate money to the campaign -- and even THAT address took me forever to find. I KNOW this candidate would have to have a large staff - - I would think questions, etc. from potential voters would be welcomed, with an easy-to-find "contact me " address information but no such contact info was easily found. I wrote my question/comment using that donation email address ( I didn't donate money for sure! ) --- and - - what a surprise! No response at all :) ] I'm pretty much against this seemingly larger and larger and daily-improving "technology" - -- to do anything anymore, it's almost required to have every doodad gadget Internet thingy, whatever. Recently I tried to enter a sweepstakes contest WITHOUT a Facebook account - - geez - - took forever to find out how. :) ] Sorry for my rant, too! :)
