How can I get back my money from a seller through PayPal?

How do I get my money back on Paypal if the seller takes my money and doesn't give me the item?

  • This is not an Ebay transaction, it's a Youtube transaction. I've been subscribed to this guy for a while, he makes videos and he seems trustworthy. He said that he is selling an item on one of his videos and he said he would accept the first person to offer him $200. I trust that he won't scam me but you never know... What would i do in the situation that I send him money directly to his paypal account and he decides to not even send me the item? Is it possible to get my money back?

    Does Youtube follow up on faulty transactions? It would not hurt to contact them regarding the issue, to make them aware of it, at most the guy may get booted off of Youtube, losing his account .. I would also file a dispute through Paypal, they are good for getting people's money back for them, at least when dealing with eBay they are, not sure about Youtube, but for $200, it is worth a try..good luck to you..

Good luck with that dude. PayPal, or PayEnemy as I call it, is the evil henchbot of eBay. Ive been shafted by them on more than one occasion & so has a close friend of mine to the tune of £££s. I found them a nightmare to deal with & avoid them like the plague.

well if you would have sent it like a check from the bank through the mail I think there is a certain way to make it payable and non payable such as a stop payment order from a phone to the bank. As far as paypal I am uncertain never done it that way so you would have to contact them. Maybe in the future say you will pay half now and half when the item is delivered
