I have now or have had 5 family members with Diabetes and i have been a borderline Diabetic. Most of them have had or has neuropthy. Even tho i have regular blood test to check for Diabetes i believe i have it and the pain is so bad at night. I have other health issues with symptoms similar to them that neuropothy has which make it hard to decide how to treat it. I wish i had one day without the pain. Not many understand the type of regular pain i have and how it controls my life.

Neuropathy is one of three things I deal with. I can't use my arms for more than 3 hours at all; pain cripples me. My feet seem only a little affected, though has swelling from time to time. In that swelling, there is also membrane issues with porousness problems, meaning that my body is off one chemical or another, so there might be some trace origination with neuropathy as accumulative in causations. All that was unnoticeable from the pain of 2 spine bones (vertibrea) crushing nerves in my neck. Pain pain, the magical fruit. The more you feel the more you go nuts. More true now, than ever. There's a pain induced schizophrenia that I developed into. I take Latuda for that, which also helps with the neuropathy. There's also an MS med called Tizanidine that can help, but really makes me brain dead. Though it is a relief to get away from the pain, as I will use it intermitently. I hope this helps for what situation you are contending with.

I personally don't have it, but a friend of mine does. It is very painful from what I can gather. Every time we go over pumps on the little yellow school bus, she cries out "Ouch"! I turn around in my seat to face her, and there she is with a very strange look on her face as though Lucky licked the side of her arm. I tell her she should stand during the bus ride, but she looks at me like I'm strange. Do you think I'm strange? Oh well, I'd tried. :)
