After publishing "Fed Up!: Our Fight to Save America from Washington" Rick Perry says the book doesn't reflect his views. Is he confused?

  I think we should all just operate with the assumption that politicians are lying unless we can prove otherwise in specific and limited circumstances. That will save the time required to analyze and validate each individual lie, which turns out to be like counting the droplets coming out of an open fire hydrant.
