What does an incomplete text message mean?

Text message showing callback number that is not the number of person who sent the text. What does that mean?

  • I've texted back and forth with in the past and saw the same CB# on the bottom before but thought nothing of it. Until I got a random text from him that said "G2G babe txt you later". When I had not text or called him I called to see what that was about and he said he didn't text me or have any outgoing texts. I called the CB# and it was a girls voicemail. Now I'm kinda worried.....if it is a phone error or he sent it to me and meant it for somebody else...seems confusing.
