What do you think would happen if the "Occupy Wall Street" movement turned into an "Eat The Rich" movement?

Well, The Bowel Movement and their "Poo in the Park events have shown they are the new "Edith Bunkers". I can see them confusing the fool next to them for a side of ribs in a hunger driven frenzy fueled by whatever narcotics they had been passing around.

If it actually came to that, then I would hope that Mayor Btoomberg would have the spine to arrest the murder those guilty of the murder and cannibalism.

I think Aerosmith would be pissed. They started that movement almost 20 years ago.

It would become a modern day "Reign of Terror" similar to the one after the French Revolution.

If protesters REALLLY decided to eat the rich, I guess you could pretty much figure it would go down like a terrorist or zombie attack. First the local police would start hitting people with pepper spray and batons, then SWAT and Riot backup would hit the scene and try to contain the situation. If they could not beat the crowd into submission then the National Guard would come in and they would probably declare Martial Law and stop using tear gas and rubber bullets and begin shooting everyone on the streets with real bullets. In the meantime the media would spin it to seem like a terrorist attack or something and urge people to stay at home and protect themselves. The rich elite and the government would retreat to their bunkers if things continued to spread and eventually the military would get involved, people would be forced to stay in their homes, patrols would be set up. If by then the Eaters hadn't stopped growing in number and power then the military would probably fall back to a centralized point and start releasing chemical, biological or nuke weapons. At that point most of the population of the USA would be decimated, there would be plenty of resources and jobs now. Of course the majority of the population that survived was government, the rich and the military so I doubt the new world would be much better.

That would probably mean that Krokus would become their Bob Dylan and I don't know if I can stomach that.

I would feel no remorse about turning a blind eye to it. imperial russia, french aristocracy, current america all have one thing in common, those with power believe they entitled to so much that there is nothing left for the common man. when those whos lack of financial power are abused by those with financial power, why would anyone be surprised when they turn around and abuse their physical power against the opressors? by the way, if you need someone to build you a guillotine I'm your man.
