If you see a cop in your rear view mirror, do you change your driving habits? Or are you already driving within the law?

I might look down to see if I"m still maintaining the correct speed, but since I'm always looking down to check that, it's nothing new. I'm kind of a stickler for obeying all traffic laws. I take laws and obeying them, very seriously. I drive my husband nuts using my turn indicators even when there is clearly no cars around...at the moment, but who knows when someone might speed by :)

I always do the speed limit..I drove professionally for a time and a squeaky clean driver's license is too precious to me.

I would hopefully be driving within the law and will ensure that I do at that point. And my heart would likely receive a startle, too.

By the time he's in your mirror, its too late to do anything.

I always check my speed when I see a police car. It's just a reflex.

No worries...already following the rule of law on the freeway. Does it make me a little nervous? Yep. I'm always relieved when they go around me because I'm driving the speed limit so they then follow someone else. :)

I drive a 1987 Volvo 240. A iron clad jalopy on wheels. Just seeing me instantly puts off the illusion of me driving slow. I am often ignored on the road =P Don't be fooled though, once you drive a 240 you'll never go back! I got 2 looking for my 3rd!

I usually check my speed, but that's about it. Never even really have to slow down. Even if I'm speeding a bit, I try to play nonchalant and not even respond to the cop. I feel that if you change your behavior, it makes him/her more aware of you and you'll have a greater chance of getting pulled over. I've only been pulled over once.

I am nervous when they are behind me...but I am not known to do anything illegal in the first place.
