Rep. Terry(R-Neb.) would loosen restrictions on telemarketing calls to cellphones. Do you support the GOP plan to robocall your cell?

This is not the first time that this question has come up. Personally, I don't like getting those kinds of calls at my home phone. If I get such a call I tend to just hang up. If I had a cell phone, the I would like getting those kinds of calls at it. That written, if such a bill does pass, then it had better include a provision requiring the robocaller to pay ALL fees that might be incurred by the recipient. It would really be adding insult to injury from the cell phone own to also get hit by fees for a call that he didn't want to receive in the first place.

When they phone, you tell them straight up, I won't purchase from your company ever because of these annoying phone calls. If you want to make the point even more, don't let them hang up. It will quickly become unprofitable. If it's a machine dialing, keep mashing 0 until you get to talk to a person. They do it because it works... make it not work. The solution has to come from the people. Otherwise it might end up like the famous do-not-call list up here which is meaningless, and has actually been used as a call list.
