What kind of glue is this? Makes strands when pulled apart
-
As you pull surfaces apart (many days after they were glued together), the glue will make strands like in the left picture. Once the surfaces have been pulled apart completely, the glue will look like in the right picture. http://i39.tinypic.com/vpdlys.jpg Any name for this kind of glue?

Answer:
Judging from your description......this product isn't really a "glue" at all. It's probably "rubber cement." In Journalism class in high school, we used it when we laid out our pages. It leaves no residue to interfere with the finished product.
