I think i missed the part where my life was supposed to mean something because i passed up marriage and kids, now im single and lost?

We all picture how life should be; wife, kids, cars, etc... but how many achieve the life style they picture?. Not all. Now you could have the wife and kids and be living in an apartment in the seedy section of town, living check to check. Does that sound better to you?. Things are the way they were meant to be. Some people always think the other side of the fence is greener.

Unless you are in your deathbed it's never too late dude. Forget kids, they're over-rated anyway; meet up with another lost soul and explore each other until you find yourselves.

Who told you that you have to get married and have children to have meaning in your life? It is up to you, at whatever point in your life that you are in, to decided for yourself what meaning you want and then peruse it. Frankly, a life of "nightclubs, bars, parties, drugs and casual sex" IS a meaningful life. You had fun, right? And no one got hurt? That's meaningful! It's a whole philosophy called Hedonism. If at this point you feel the need to get married and have kids, fine- do it. As a male, you can have kids well into your 90's- you just need a younger woman, or you would need to adopt. Do whatever you want, as long as you don't hurt anyone, and that is more then enough meaning.
