First this administration encourages the sale of guns to criminals. Then they demand stricter reporting of gun sales. Twisted or what?

Answer:
LMAO, I tried to get here before the idiot liberals showed up to proclaim it was Bushs fault but I was too late. Operation "Wide Reciever" was implemented and STOPPED under the Bush Administration, F&F is all on the hands of the racist Eric Holder and Obama, the deaths of the border agents and so far at least 4 US citizens is tied inextricably to them and ONLY them.

This happened a year ago. Pretty twisted, I think. I just hope the state department doesn't ever try anything this stupid with nukes and foreign countries!

I see this as benefiting both the extreme left and extreme right. It looks like an attempt to justify stricter gun control. And it looks like an attempt to justify more money for the police state and drug war.

Let's be clear here, Fast & Furious was a program started during the Bush administration. It does appear it was mishandled under Obama and I will watch for more details. As far as this NRA nonsense that "Obama wants to take your guns away from you" goes...it's just more paranoia to sell guns & ammo, to increase donations to the NRA (so they can laugh all the way to the bank) and to gin up support from the paranoid for the GOP. The SCOTUS has affirmed your right to own guns but has also left room for reasonable regulation. A sane approach to guns? Why would the NRA or the GOP want that? They'd loose all that wonderful money. Additionally Obama was the president who signed into law a bill that relaxes gun regulations, allowing gun owners to carry on federal lands not previously open to them. I am not surprised that your question appeared here this morning Glenn. FOX was just braying about it so you obviously will as well. I am a life long gun owner, a hunter and a strong supporter of gun rights but more than that of gun owner responsibility too. Should everyone own a gun? Probably not. The number of idiots on this planet seems infinite and honestly I don't think many of them should be armed. The clinically insane and felons for instance, ought not to own guns. Isn't some regulation reasonable? Many in the NRA think not...or do they really think that...but that's another post. Border area gun sellers who are selling large quantities of guns/ammo to individuals have some responsibility when they are used by drug runners and other violent criminals. Surely they don't believe these guns are being used by the Boy Scouts. Isn't some reasonable regulation to address the issue appropriate?
