How to add rows to gridview dynamically in windows phone?

If I get a new better phone from a friend, can I replace the phone I have now without having to add a line?

  • I lost my phone and didnt have insurance on it. My friend is going to give me his old phone, so I dont have to buy a new one, but if I get a new phone, do I have to add a line to my existing family plan account, or can I just get my number and everything on my new phone? Would I just have to pay an activation fee? Im scared that I will have to add a line since I lost the phone which has the sim card. I would call verizon, but I dont have a phone to call... and its too late to get a friends phone, and I am planning on buying this new phone from my friend tomorrow. Thank you.

  • Answer:

An ESN swap would do it I think. You used to be able to do it online yourself. Try taking the battery out of the old one, keep it off of course and dial *228 on the new one and press option 3. It should swap. Then dial *228 option one on the new one. Hope this helps! Never done this, but I was told it works. : )
