Guinea pigs usually give birth to only one baby, sometimes two, and very rarely three. I suspect you are feeling her cecal pellets and poops, not a litter. Just continue to give her good food and water - not just pellets, but also timothy hay, spinach, kale, clean grass, non-sprayed dandelions, carrots, whole ears of corn (with the husks and silk still on them), apples, any kind of clean fruit or vegetable... and guinea pigs do appreciate (and need) the occasional orange-flavored chewable vitamin C tablet. Good luck!

Without examining her, it's really hard to determine what is going on, particularly if she isn't very close to her due date. What are you going to do if she's pregnant, return her to the shop?

nothing is realy helpful. i looked up everysite on guinea pigs and nothing really helped.. i think im just going to take her to the vets. no, if she's pregnant im going to buy another cages if theres any boys. & let her do her thing until there 7 weeks. and them im going to give them to good homes. i could never give her back, shes my baby<3

Good, let the vet see her and make sure she's healthy. Good luck with your little sweetie (and any babies)!

thank you (: and she had her babies ! she had three !

Congratulations! I am so happy for you! Baby guinea pigs are sooo cute! Be sure to let them eat as much solid food as they want, as early as they want to try. They like milk plus solid food much earlier than a lot of animals and they go along in this double path for a while instead of just switching. And be sure to give mama her chewable vitamin C. Congratulations again.

Sometimes these caged animals have abdominal tumors due to an improper diet. When I was a teenager a friend gave me an adult Guine Pig for my birthday. Little did I know that he stole it from a petting zoo in a park that did not care for the animals well enough. Proudly he said: " I got you the fattest one!" We named her Popcorn and soon she had two little babies that stood in line to nurse. While one nurse the other waited patiently. They were adorable. I was devastated when my Mom found good homes for them explaining that Popcorn being a girl with two sons we would have a serious Guine Pig farm in no time. Take her to the vet because it is a tumor she should be put down. These tumors press on their sciatic nerve causing extreme pain until they can no longer walk. It happened to our hamsters.

how are you going to tell me that she has a tumor, when you havn't even seen her. THEN ; tell me to put her down? she doesnt not have a tumor thank you, and im sure that if she had a tumor THAT big she couldnt walk. so thank you for telling me to put her down <3 that made me day. & fyi ; she gave birth to 3 tumorless babies. :). thank you though, for the advice you gave me. thoughh . also; its spelt GUINEA PIG .
