If most of the main members pull the plug on askville,how does that benifit Amazon because that seems to be what they=

We are all easily replaced, sad to say....Askville probably won't even miss us (individual members will, of course!). I don't think it's a personal thing against "regulars", just the way they feel this place works best for their business plan. We are getting lots of new people, and that's a good thing!!

You will always have activity here. Drive by newbies who visit the site, or ask or answer a question or two. The main activity is with bonus questions - we're just here to give the site the appearance of being "live." I don't think we're all that convincing, though.

They actually want to replace us.

Askville has lost the human interaction that made this place stand out from the rest of the on line Q+A sites that are on the net now it just another Q+A site,and I find that sad,but it does semm to be what Amazon wants.

It does seem that way,but replace us with what more elf bots??
