The unit is very simple to set up. I had the unit runing in no time. The games and direct Tv sounds great. The unit is perfect for an small room or and kids room. It got fried during a lightning storm and I had to get something cheap and quick. However, you are better off with nothing than this. I am not an audiophile by any means (I listen to Mp3s and CDs, sacrilege for audiophiles who prefer DVD-A and Vinyl Record), but these sound lifeless.
