What this product description doesn't tell you is that the minimum distance that the sensor has to be from the car is 1 foot 4 inches and if I had that much room to play with then I wouldn't need a parking guide in the first place. This review is from: Park Zone PZ-1900 Platinum Dual Power Garage Parking Aid (Automotive) Installation took less than 30 minutes. Mounted the two sections (sensor and indicator light) to the wall in front of car. Connected these with the snap-in cord provided. This is necessary because the sensor is placed at bumper height, while the indicator light mounts a few feet above. Next, I plugged the indicator light into a nearby AC outlet, set the car in position, and switched the unit on. Blinking lights confirmed that the unit was recording the location of the car.
