This review is from: On Stage CM01 Video Camera/Digital Recorder Adapter (Electronics) Sturdy and, according to package, able to support 6 lbs. Overall height is about 2 inches (53 mm). Platform is 50 x 20 mm. Equipment mounting screw slides in a 15 mm slot that starts 10 mm from the end of the platform. The slot is centered between and parallel to the long sides of the platform. There's no damping on the ball; it's either locked or completely free. Mine was binding in a number of positions - fixed by slightly loosening a hex-head set screw opposite the locking knob. There's a U-shaped cutout on both sides of the base to enable 180-degree tilt. One on mine had a burr that prevented its use - removed with a small file.
