In the photo, the sticker appears to "blend in" to the glass on the window. The lettering stands out but not the sticker itself. Mine is printed on a textured sticker and I fear the background will show if I try to apply it to my car window. It's not cut particularly neatly, either, so if the "clear" part shows (which I believe it will), it won't look very nice. I'm going to cut off a corner of the sticker and try that on a window. If it looks okay, I'll trim the rest of the sticker and give it a try. Otherwise, this is going on a book cover or something where quality won't matter as much. Bummer. It's hilarious to watch their expressions (in my rearview mirror) as they read it and then start laughing! I'm sure that most people don't believe that I"m a knitter (there's so few of us out there!) and see it as a joke, but I love my sticker and wear it proudly! I have to say that it was a little concerning getting it attached to my car. I used a credit card to smooth it out over my window before I pulled the protective payer off and then used the card again to really rub the lettering on good. I've noticed though that the lettering is starting to peel off already, which is unfortunate. I love my sticker and can't bear the thought of losing it!
