Is there illegal software called SecuROM on the sims 3?

Answer:
SecuROM is in fact illegal. It modifies it's System Registry entries to make it impossible to delete short of wiping the drive or using special tools. It logs your games, and reports/lists games that may not be legal to SecuRom, which in turn reports you. Its essentially a rootkit. STAY AWAY FROM SECUROM. It also blocks the use of emulation programs to play a game.
