Typically I thought of these as most useful for lingerie but I wound up using them for my sweaters and knits. The best thing about them that they don't stretch out the shoulders. They are sturdy and hold a long fairly heavy sweater/coat without bending. As a nice side benefit the hangers are pretty and when I open my closet and I see a bit of their color it makes me feel good. I recommend these hangers!
