@ Good reviews for this product overall Most Helpful Customer Reviews 5 of 6 people found the following review helpful: 4.0 out of 5 stars Miracle-gro for the garden, June 14, 2010 By Julia Wagner - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) This review is from: Miracle-Gro 1001501 All Purpose Liquid Plant Food - 32 oz (Lawn & Patio) I've only been gardening for a few years, and this is the first fertilizer I ever used. A few days after applying this product, all of my "struggling" garden plants seemed to get over their iffy stage and just took off. I have a very finicky ivy geranium in particular that was struggling for a year and now it's gorgeous. I went to the nursery recently for more fertilizer advice and they told me not to use miracle gro because it's full of unnatural chemicals, and gave my an organic dry fertilizer instead. I've definitely noticed that my plants had fewer blooms and growth with the new fertilizer, so I switched back and couldn't be happier. But minus one star for it's chemically-ness. I can't complain. I planted tomatoes from seeds in May thinking "there's no way I'll get tomatoes this year" (in pot, I have a patio). It's been 3 months; the plants are really tall and I have quite a few tomatoes coming out. Definitely no complaints. The rest of my plants are also growing out of control. Not worth the price. Go to K-Mart and buy the large box.
