Yes No Report abuse | Permalink Comment Comment 3.0 out of 5 stars Works after modification, August 24, 2011 By Matt - See all my reviews This review is from: TIPPMANN Double Trigger Kit (For 98 Custom and Custom Pro Markers) (Sports) I put this on about 2 days ago and noticed right away that the trigger sticks, or rather, the bolt sticks and needs to be pushed forward about 1/8 of an inch in order to push the sear forward. I took this to a nearby shop and had them look at it. The guy there really knows his stuff, and after several minutes of experimentation, he found the problem. The hole in the trigger that holds the retaining pin for the trigger return spring is too large. The pin falls out after working the return spring a few times. The one for the original trigger is much tighter and can only be pushed out with a small tool. The solution? A larger pin, or rather, clamp the pin in a vise and flatten it a little. I gave it a 3 star because it is a good product, aside from the one manufacturing flaw. P.s. This review is from: TIPPMANN Double Trigger Kit (For 98 Custom and Custom Pro Markers) (Sports) It seems this isn't the official "GTA" Tippmann Double trigger and I experienced the same problem that most others on Amazon have complained about: the spring that resets the trigger and 'triggers' the sear seems to be of poor build. I say this because after several attempts to oil the spring, reset its position, replace in two Tippmanns - it doesn't seem to want to work. I'm still trying to figure out what the solution to this problem (I'm all ears if anyone has any suggestions) may be and hope after more tinkering I'll get it to work. Why three stars?
