I unloaded a few clips on semiautomatic, and then changed out the co2 cartridge to try auto. The first 10-20 bbs came out, but then the blow back bolt started jamming forward. Then regardless of semi or auto setting I would need to manually pull back the bolt between every shot. If I had to guess based on my short opportunity to run this in auto, I would say the shot rate was closer to 5-6 per second, not 16 per second as the product is specified. Overall, very disappointed with this one and plan to go back and try another Crossman C11, which (as my luck would have it) was bad right out of the box and would not seal on the cartridges. I did like the idea of 550 fps and a laser sight. This model gets fairly mixed reviews as well, with problems with jamming. Still looking for the ultimate airsoft configuration. It isn't accurate, nor is practical. It has no range (40-60 feet) and it is very inaccurate (did i spell that right?). The gas can only lasts for about 1 and a half magazines, and it leaks LOTS of gas. It is really only fun to shoot off in your backyard. This is a great gun because it's powerful and accurate. I would recommend getting the extra magazines, as you might know this gun happens to run out of ammo quickly if you have only one magazine. However, there are a few minor problems with this airsoft gun. 1. The co2 runs out quickly, so I would recommend getting a 20-25 pack of co2 if you're consistently using this gun. 2.
