There are endless possibilities, but these are some of my favorites. For jazz, look for JJ Johnson/Kai Winding solos- "Don't Argue" was my favorite. "My Favorite Things" is also a good one, along with "When I Fall In Love". "What a wonderful world" sounds great, but its not necessarily jazz. For big band solos, my favorites are Duke Ellington/Count Basie's "Battle Royale" and Woody Herman's "Bijou" and "My Favorite Things".
