I made a large raise post flop and another raise on the turn card and a call (against a raiser) on the river. Why did i do this? Because i THOUGHT that i had an Ace hearts high flush, since i "saw" three hearts on the board after the turn card. I was genuinely astonished when the dealer pushed the pot towards my opponent as i cried out "but i have a flush!" Taking one last look at the board, i see two hearts, a spade, a RED DIAMOND!, and another spade. So what i really saw were three RED cards, and my mind tricked me into thinking that i had a flush. This was not entirely due to lack of concentration. You see, at FullTiltPoker where i play online pretty much every day, i have selected the option to have a 4 color deck. So the only time i see red cards is when they are hearts. The spades are always black, the diamonds are always blue, and the clubs are always green. This daily routine has wired my brain to think "hearts" whenever i see the color "red". A very Pavlovian stimulus response i know. Of course, the beauty of the 4 color deck is that you will immediately know if you are on a flush draw or not. You will not make a mistake that will cost you money at the table, at least not the one Source: http://www.amazon.com/Copag-4-Color-Poker-Regular-Playing/dp/B000F9YRZK
