They work for your allergies, but the taste is just indescribably disgusting. It also makes your tongue numb. Unfortunately these tend to be severe (swelling closed of the throat, extreme breathing difficulties, rash, life threatening symptoms). Instead of hitting myself with an epi pen a few times, I have taken these as directed by doctor. They work quickly, MUCH faster than pill form and I can feel my worst symptoms start to alleviate after 5-8 minutes after taking them. There is NOTHING more WONDERFUL than feeling your throat start to open back up after its closed so tightly it sounds like you are sucking air out of a straw. A relief, a miracle! I do NOT go anywhere without them. A doctor's office crammed with people wearing perfume that started out being a torture session (breathing in gasps, clamp feeling around chest, headache) was competely cleared up by ONE of these strips that I had in my purse. Yes, they taste VERY minty, and leave a burning taste in your throat for awhile, but its a small, VERY small price to pay for the FREEDOM these can give people with severe allergies.
