I have nerve problems in my left arm and hand, which causes extreme pain, particularly in my finger tips as well as itching on my palm. As a medical transcriptionist, this caused much difficulty with my work. The pain was so bad it was like typing on red-hot razor blades! I had a lidocaine cream prescribed for me, but it was 3% in strength and didn't help. Strangely, I couldn't find a 5% RX, except in ointment form.
