I drank my usual 9 cups of water a day, but my skin became quite dry while using this product, which isn't surprising, as collagen supplements seem to require a lot of water to function properly in the body. However, my skin looked very vibrant and clear, which is wonderful! After stopping the supplement it was obvious just how much it improved my skin as it was a GREAT deal softer than before I started, just needed to rehydrate within a day or so without it. The beneficial skin effects have remained more or less, and so have those on my lips, but it does gradually fade over time, which is fine by me, I love the effects and will use it again when I need it ^^ I'd recommend this product, without a doubt. Oh, wait I just did :) FYI, I started at the lowest dose to prevent adverse reactions, but found that the benefit appeared so rapidly for me that I didn't require the 3 pills a day, twice a day (which is suggested on the bottle). When it comes to supplements or herbs it's wise to start at a low dose and gradually build your way up to your ideal amount.
