He spent years suffering from severe constipation with stool often leaking into his underwear. We tried everything; miralax, dulcolax, suppositories, prunes, fiber, prune juice, the list goes on. I tried one of these on my own; afraid to give my son something that the doctor's knew nothing about. I pooped ten times in one day after taking one pill. Goodness sakes alive! I put the bottle on the shelf for months and months. But, in desperation, reached for it one night and wahlah! The answer to all of his troubles. He is 9, a big boy. He takes one pill in the a.m. and one pill in the p.m. No. More. Problems! He does have to take food with the morning dosage or he gets a little ill on the bus in the morning.
