It was in a plastic bag for protection, and there was no marks or imperfections on it anywhere. And got shipped to me very quickly. If you're looking for a Bowser, Id say get this one. Its worth it. I have seen others with felt eyebrows and hair that are glued on , but this one is perfect. San-ei uses thread, not glue, so everything is sewn on. I think this plush will stay together for a long time. It is also going to be my sons favorite Christmas gift this year. I can't wait to see his face when he sees this huge "bad man" as he calls him. Upon ordering this plush, I was BLOWN AWAY at the size of it. I collect mario plush and I actually posted a few photos of the original versus this one. My brother LOVES bowser. My brother is planning to attend Fanime in San Jose this year and requested that he borrow my huge bowser to bring into the exhibit hall. I didn't want to, but I agreed, ONLY IF I COULD GO TOO! I can't wait to see the reactions of the people while we're tugging this thing around. And best of all, it's AUTHENTIC AND BEST OF ALL, AN IMPORT! Most of the time, I can tell when a plush is fake based on tag, UPC, or just searching to see other's reviews. I have to say though, the spikes on the back are detailed, the arms are tough and thick, and overall, it stands and towers over any other plush aroundit! I threw it against the wall to see if any of the back pieces or facial features would fall off (one of the bowsers I purchased was fake and the durability was lacking), but this one was 100% intact.
