It also turned on automatically, which proved to be a problem because it conflicted with other bluetooth devices. This keyboard is better for an Ipad. It's also cheaper. The keyboard is close to full-size, but folds in half for travel and storage. It comes with its own travel case but may fit with an Ipad in some of the larger Ipad cases.
