I then bought an HP TV tuner after their sales person told me it would work on XP. It DID NOT. HP tech service tried to help for days with no avail. Now I have a Vista PC and a Win7 PC and the Pinnacle tuner gave me fits. The HP Tuner works great with these systems but I gave it away. So, now I bought the Diamond TV tuner. The previous 2 tuners gave me about 8-10 channels on an antenna [I do not have cable]. The Diamond gives me 2 worthless local channels. I thought tuners were the same. You may have noticed that regular TVs also have different strengths of TV tuners. I found a way to get 4 more channels by getting a longer antenna cord to a nearby window. HERE is how the Diamond website Knowledge Base helps us...NOT! A DIRECT quote from their site: "Bad reception using an antenna An antenna is the least favorable means of viewing and recording" Diamond is telling us 'Tough luck, Sucker." The reception is amazing and looks great on a 92" screen. It picked up most stations even with the included itty bitty bunny ears. Took it on the road with my laptop and forgot the installation cd.
