I got it to go with my 13" MacBook, which I thought was getting too hot just sitting on my lap or bed. The iLap makes it comfortable with the cushions, and removes the heat from my lap. I think my laptop is about the same temperature (no removing of ITS heat, but the alumninum doesn't get hot, so there's no additional heat being added into the equation. Overall, great! The cushion at the wrist is also easily removable, and has a strip of velcro to keep it attached to the iLap for when you want it on.
