SERVERS:How can i find out if a restaurnt is a good place to work? there is a site 'shamelessrestaurant' but its very limited as far as the cities listed...i know theres plenty of blogs for bad tipping rants, but i need to find out managemnt type stuff

If you have a SPECIFIC restauarant already in mind, it may be a good idea to search for current and/or former employees and ask them about their experience. Call the owner or owning company and tell them you are researching career opportunities in restaurant management-ask if they have information they can send you. Call the local Better Business Board or Chamber of Commerce and ask for any history of complaints. Call the state employment board and the food & liquor licensing boards and ask for any history of complaints.
