Night vision not very clear By James Young I have had this camera for about 6 months now. The night video is pretty grainy. Also, you can see reflections in the camera in the night video. I think it is the camera seeing a reflection from the protective outdoor lens generated by the infrared lights. Also, recently the camera does not display green properly. Green is displayed white. For an hour or so in the morning, the sun is seen in the corner of the camer's video. I suppose it is possible that the sun damaged the camera. However, it would be good if the camera was more robust than that. After all, it is frequently impossible to prevent the camera from seeing a portion of the sun for a while. The LED's still glow but night vision is totally black. These appeared to be excellent cameras at the start, I never expected such rapid failures. Life expectancy should have been at least 4 or 5 years. At the current rate of failure I expect the last 2 will be rendered useless within the next 4 weeks making the average life expectancy less than 9 months, a far cry from my other CCTV 16 cameras which have operated for over 10 years without incident. But when I hooked it up, the field of vision was only my driveway. This camera 3.6mm lens can't view as wide as others. I called them they told me to get a clear wide angle lenses.
