What do you think a successful business person is?

Do you prefer your business cards vertical or horizontal? What do you think it says about a person? I have found horizontal people have big egos.

    I worked in printing for over 20 years, and the ones that usually get them are the types that are very creative type, or want to stand out in a crowd.

It depends on what type of service you are providing (no pun intended). For business I like horizonal. If you were say a professional tree trimmer, it could look cool vertical wiith a logo of a tree or something.

Horizontal. I file vertical cards in the circular file. Vertical cards are childish unless you are in Asia where they are the norm.
