Pros and cons of becoming a Flight Attendant?

What are the pros and cons of being a airline flight attendant?

  • Answer:

Pros: You get through airline security faster, and after everyone gets off the plane, you can pull quarters out of the seats that fell out of people's pockets. Cons: Getting your butt pinched, dealing with screaming babies many times per day, having to handle vomit bags, being a waitress but not getting tipped, having chronic dry skin from working in an excessively dry environment, fear of losing your job if you gain weight, working in a high radiation environment. Having to stay overnight in lousy hotels in unpleasant cities several times per week, having to go through airport security to get to work, not being able to go out to lunch with your friends, having to (on Pacific flights) stay "at work" for as long as 30 hours at a stretch.
