you could write about the Olympics and how it relates to national pride. what winning and losing does to a countries overall national morale. you could also write about how the Olympics affect the global political scene. if competing brings foriegn nations closer and forms a bond, or if it causes more tension between countries with political differences. just a couple of thoughts! hope it helps!
