well, no reviews I can find, but here is their website Classic Cocktails Get Energized With Launch of Jetset® Energy Mixers Energy Club Soda, Energy Tonic Water, Energy Ginger Ale and Original Energy Flavor Now Available SAN FRANCISCO (June 28, 2007) – Creating new options for the discerning mixed-drink consumer, Jetset Beverages, Inc. announces the arrival of a new line of energized cocktail mixers. Jetset Club Soda, Jetset Tonic Water, and Jetset Ginger Ale taste identical to their non-energized counterparts yet bring new life to traditional mixed drinks such as Gin & Tonic, Vodka-Soda and Whiskey & Ginger. The Jetset line of mixers, which includes Jetset Energy Original flavor, is now available in select bars and clubs and at Safeway affiliated stores nationwide (Safeway, VONS, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Dominick’s, Carrs, Pavilions and Genuardi’s). “We like to think that Jetset lifts consumers’ spirits by giving them the opportunity to enjoy their favorite cocktail with an energy kick,” said Jeff Silver, president and CEO of Jetset Beverages, Inc. “We offer a premium product designed to mix with your favorite spirit or enjoy on its own as a great tasting and energizing drink.” Jetset Energy Mixers® are enhanced with a carefully formulated blend of guarana, ginseng, taurine and caffeine. A highly regarded beverage industry publication recently reviewed Jetset Original as better tasting than the leading two energy drinks on the market today. Jetset Beverages also plans to introduce a line of diet options for the calorie-conscious consumer in the near future. The multi-billion dollar energy drink market has experienced explosive growth over the last several years, growing in excess of 47% in 2006. In contrast, the mixers market has been characterized by slower growth and relatively little innovation. Jetset Energy Mixers combines the best of both of categories to create an exciting new energy mixer market. Jetset Energy Ginger Ale I’ve tried a couple of the mixer energy drinks from Jetset so far and every time I have been impressed. They make top quality drinks and they have a niche. Energy mixers are few and far between. Hell a lot of companies shy away from mixing at all. Not Jetset. They know there is a market for quality mixers with a kick. Ginger ale is a good mixer as well as a morning after drink. Let’s see how it is. Packaging: Jetset Ginger ale comes in a 10.5 oz can. The can is Green with a background of circles I thought on other Jetset cans it looked like ripples in water in and ever expanding circle but now I think it is more like sound booming out of a speaker at a party. The Name “Jetset” is in a white font with a green star in the middle of the name. I like the font they use and the white on green looks really good. The word “energy” is in a different green font below the Jetset and “ginger ale” is in a silver font a little lower down. All around the top are clocks with different time zones for different major cities all over the world. On the back is the image of a DJ spinning some records and wearing a Jetset shirt. There is also the typical Nutrition Facts. I give them a solid B+ for packaging. I like green and this can is classy looking which fits in with the target market for Jetset Ginger ale. Slogans: The Jetset logo/slogan is still “Mile high energy” which is only so so and does not make me think party very much. I think they could use a better slogan. Something like “There’s always a party somewhere” or something that goes with their worldwide party theme. I give them a C+ for slogan. Taste ect: When you open the can you are hit with the traditional ginger ale scent. That is a good thing. No scent of anything medicinal or vitamin like just pure Ginger ale. It comes out of the can a nice caramel color with a heavy carbonation. I tried it mixed with some Crown Royal over ice and that made a nice refreshing drink. I also tried it straight up to sooth an upset stomach and wake me up after a hard night on the town. As a mixed drink it had a kick and tasted like you expect a top shelf ginger ale to taste. Straight up it soothed my stomach and tasted just like a Canada Dry or other ginger ale. I give them a grade of B+ for taste. I am amazed they can make a drink that taste just like a regular Ginger ale but with the energy ingredients. Why would you go with a regular Ginger ale when you can have a kicked up one? Kick/Ingredients: It’s a Sunday afternoon and your tired and want to unwind but not too much since it is still early. I mix a little Jetset Ginger ale with a shot or two of Crown over crushed ice. Bam! You feel a boost from the Jetset with the edge taken off by the Crown. Your alert and cruising along for several hours. So after a big night on the town I wake up and I’m not feelin so good. I grab a can of Jetset Ginger ale. 30 minutes later I not only feel better but I’m alert. This buzz last for several hours. Jetset Ginger ale has the same ingredient profile as the other Jetset drinks. 120 mg caffeine, 1000 mg of Taurine, Inositol, Guarana, B vitamins, Ginseng and Glucuronolactone. 105 calories with 26 grams of sugar(HFCS) and 1 gram of protein. B- for kick. This is something you drink more than one of in a night so that is a pretty good score. Web presence: They have a really nice site at Drinkjetset at least as far as design goes. It’s a well designed flash site and offers you nutrition facts for each of their drinks as well as some party drink recipes.
