I i have two hard drives c and d i already had windows xp pro on drive c which is 60gb. i have now installed windows xp pro on drive d which is slighty smaller.how do i now remove it from drive c. when i use computer management i cannot format drive c

Answer:
You can start your computer with the windows disk, and follow the prompts from there. It should give you the option to remove the windows drive from the hard drive, and you will then be able to format it. I am quite certain about this. How you will do this is by repairing, and it will ask you if you want to remove an already installed one. It will be the C drive one I presume you want to remove. I think this is right. I don't use windows anymore. I use linux, but I am a newcomer to linux.
