LOST AUDIO Lost your audio? There are a few things you can check before you panic that may be a simple fix for you. So let’s go though the list and see if we can fix you audio for you without a major repair. 1. Start>control panel> sounds & audio devices icon click>look to see if the box beside the mute is check? If so uncheck it and click apply and OK (If you do not have a volume icon in task bar put a check in that box at same time before you click apply and OK) 2. Audio tab click it and choose advanced button>choose performance tab> and click restore defaults> this will reset every thing back like it came from factory, click apply and ok 3. If this does not fix problem then back to control panel>system icon click>hardware tab>device manager button>and look for yellow ? On audio. If you see one then driver is either missing or corrupt and must be reinstalled or replaced etc. This can be done from CD that came with your system’s motherboard or sound card, if you do not have them then you can go to the company that made them and download. Or here are a couple choices to find drivers. 4. To help know what is on your system run a program called Belarc it’s free, just go to google or yahoo and type that word in and it will come up or go to http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/ and type Belarc in the search box and it will bring you to page to download. This will help you know what kind of sound card & motherboard you have 5. Last resort if you can find at company web site try this program as it works many times for a lot of people. NEED TO FIND YOUR DRIVERS? Go http://www.radarsync.com/ this software will find them and update them for you all for free, just click on the red download button (start free download free version) 1.18 MB is the size of file just choose where you would like to save it too. (You may also need this file Microsoft NET Framework 2.0) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx?displaylang=en# This program will download and install them for you. Then go back to device manager and check for your yellow? To see that they are gone. I hope this helps in some way.
