theoretically, no, it shouldn't be on a legal record. but nowadays, companies do more than just that type of background search. many companies use various data collecting companies, and they also search for you online think about it, if someone searches for you online, having information provided when you filled out a job questionnaire, you're full name, you're e-mail address, your location, etc, how much can they find on you? do you have a blog? a facebook account? you just joined here and this is your only question, and you've no friends and have answered nothing, and you're email address is private, but do you use this username for something else they can connect with your real name? just think. everyone loves the internet and their facebook accounts, etc, etc, but what they don't get, is that it takes about ten minutes for me to find the entire life story of someone who doesn't have good internet privacy settings--and that's ten minutes, and just public stuff. there are whole companies dedicated to doing really thorough searches (and of stuff that's no longer up either, they search web archives), and it's not hard to pull the private stuff if you need to. bottom line, i don't know. and I don't know if the person whos interviewing you googled you and found you asking this question on your facebook page. i don't know if they found pictures of you drinking on your facebook page. the bottom line, there's no way to know. hope for the best and stop putting stuff out there
