PC Tools Spyware Doctor pops up on my screen telling me that I need to download it to keep my computer protected. I bought Norton Internet Security protection for my computer. Do I also need the Spyware Doctor?

No. Norton actually has a program to detect and delete spyware. Although I am not a fan of Norton, I do not recommend downloading anything that appears in a pop-up. If you are using Windows Explorer as a browser, just disable pop-ups. What I recommend doing though, is downloading a more advanced browser, like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. +3

PC Tools Spyware Doctor is a ligament program and finds a lot of malware that Norton never picks up on... Personally, I don't like Norton as it is intrusive in it's behavior.. There it TrendMicro, Panda and even Microsoft Securities Essentials which is free and works quite well. In the case of Spyware Doctor I would keep it and update it..not need to purchase the pro version though as the free one does the job and you can down load it from Google apps
