My friend is a felon looking for a job in reno nv he's been out 5yrs. does anyone know what companies in reno hire felons?

  I don't live in Reno, but I wanted to add that it really depends on what the felony is for. I have worked with some felons before, and they were good people. Not all felonies are equal. I would hire a felon who did an armed robbery where nobody was hurt, but would never hire a felon child molester. If his felony involved kids or homicide, he is pretty much screwed for the rest of his life. If the felony was not as serious, like involuntary manslaughter, armed robbery, drunk driving where he killed someone, that is less serious. Still hard to get a job, but not as bad as a rapist or crimes against kids. Call centers, telemarketing, sales, temporary agencies, and other minimum wage jobs are probably all he will get in the beginning. It just depends on what his felony was for.
