Is working at Chic-fil-A a hard job?

Would you rather have a job working hard for a short time or have an easy job for a long time?

  • I have always worked hard to get things done quickly so I could have time with family. I have worked sweating on farms and worked as a teacher. In both I have wanted more time to myself.

  • Answer:

I do not want a job. I like being self employed. I have been teaching martial arts since 1977, had a 2nd small business with my own ambulance, doing industrial first aid on oil drilling rigs (from 1979 - 1990), then took a computer programming course (1992 - 1994) and have been writing software for my current 2nd small home based business since Dec.1994.

Totally the hard job for a short time. I get bored if a job isn't difficult or consuming. And I would rather be anything besides bored.

Hard job for a short time. If i have an extremely easy job (in other words...boring), it goes by slowely enough. Add a LONG period of time to that, and i might just kill myself. In a more difficult/challenging job, the time will go by faster. Add a short time period to that, and it's the dream job actually :D

I like to work and I can take a job working hard for a long time, but since that isn't an option with this question, I'll pick the first choice.

What is the pay for each so I can compare?

A hard job for a short time. Time is money.

whichever is most enjoyable. for example, i would rather work for a short time as a historian on an archeological dig for 2 months, then work in a supermarket for 10 years.

My friend and I are are travelling to New Zealand in October and working and living with a family on their farm. They told us we could work short hours each day or work long hours each day but have days off as a reward. In this example it would be silly not to work hard and enjoy the time off to explore the country.
