Does my ex boyfriend still love me or want to get back together? how can I get him back?

me and my ex boyfriend were together for almost 3 years. I'm 21 and he's 22. On the day that he broke up with me, we had just spent the whole day together without problems. The reason he gave me on why he broke up is because "his feelings were slowly changing for me". Its been almost 2 months since we broke up and he has never stopped contact with me. His reason is because he wants to "remain friends". Throughout this break up I have not called him, he always calls me. When we hang out he tries to kiss me, hold me, and can't stop looking at me. Everytime we talk about our past relationship, he says he wants to stay friends and not be together. Then he says that he does think about us being together again and that he misses me but he mostly doesn't want to be together. And if he ever gets back with me, he wants to be sure so we can make it. Then he tells me that I'm all his but that were broken up. He says he doesn't want to get with anyone and that I'm beautiful. Idk what he's thinking, or why he's doing what he's doing. I tried to shorten it up :|.I want us to get back together...Any advice on what I should do or why he's doing what he's doing? Thanks.
