Acting Question?

ACTING/SINGING COREER QUESTION,please read, it would mean the world to me.

• Okay, okay, i know what your thinking "Omg, just another wannabee trying to get famous." And i dont blame you. But here it goes, ever since I can remember I've loved singing and acting. The music I like to sing would be to rock, kind of like taylor momsens ,the pretty reckless band, or paramore kind of thing, or even the runaways kind of thing. I'm not your girly girl princess, but I'm sure not a tomboy, I'm kind of a toned down taylor momsen style, with a bit more lace & floral. Also acting is something I absolutely LOVE, Youll often find me in my bedroom just acting out scenes there by myself,give me a character and i can potray them. Ive also been in a few plays, but if I ever do find an oportunity it would be in movies, or shows, kind of like gossip girl thing. Also I know this probably does'nt mean anything, but I can dance hip hop kind of style too..but yeah that does'nt really have anything to do with acting/singing. Anyways, my question is, where would i start for any of this? I live in newfoundland canada,...no where near hollywood/los angeles...so ive sometimes given up hope on what I've always wanted. Also , fame isint why im interested in all of this, honestly it pisses me off when i see these 11 year old kids running around wanting to be the next britney spears just for fame. Anyways any advice or tips would be GREATLY appreaciated.
